If you’d like to support our projects financially, your donations will go directly towards our operating and programming costs, including: darkroom supplies, cameras, rent, and facilities maintenance. At this time, donations can be received via card payment or direct bank transfer for all donors.

Materials We Always Need

Analogue photography is at the centre of what we do at Fotohane DARKROOM. We run free photography workshops with children and young people, and we use cameras, film and darkroom materials throughout the year.

We are always looking for materials that can help us continue this work. Some of these are ongoing needs, while a good-quality Mac computer is currently our most urgent need for scanning, editing and archiving photographs.

If you have any of these items that you no longer use, or would like to donate them to Fotohane, please get in touch with us.

Materials we need:

  • MacBook or iMac – currently our most urgent need, suitable for film scanning, photo editing and archiving

  • External hard drives / SSDs

  • Film scanner

  • Compact film cameras

  • Black-and-white 35mm film

  • Black-and-white printing paper

  • Darkroom chemicals and supplies

  • Projector

  • Light box for viewing negatives

  • Negative sleeves and archival materials
